Via Flickr: What a dilema, post images in chronological order or skip to the Aurora shots taken on our last night! Ah well, nothing wrong with having a taste of the pudding before the main course! Just got back from an epic Norway trip with Antony Spencer, Peter Spencer and Gary Newman. What an incredible country Norway is! Simply mind-blowing scenery at every turn! Barely a km was covered without a cry of “STOP!” from one or other of us! Needless to say we had to do much of our longer drives under cover of darkness, so we couldn’t see what we were missing! A huge thank you to Ole and Frank for helping us get some really good locations to see the Aurora and for feeding us some good strong coffee to keep us fuelled for the night. Also the prior warning that the the frozen lake we were shooting from might make some noises was very welcome and saved us from all running like scared schoolgirls with camera gear when we heared some loud cracking noises later in the evening!Arild, thanks for spending the day with us and for hooking us up with a room for some much needed rest! It was a great day. Don’t forget to let me know the name of the Norwegian rock band you were playing in your car. Pretty damn awesome! Hope you like this shot, I have so many from the last night of our trip that I didn’t know which to post first. I have so many favourites hat in the end I just posted one at pretty much random! I can’t get over how incredible it was to see this and how lucky we were to catch such a display on our last night! The fireworks at Carnival this summer will seem pretty dull!
